Jolene Lopez

                                                              Jolene Frances Lopez was born on July 5, 1958, in Durango, Colorado to Joe L. Lopez and Theodora T. Lopez. She passed May 25, 2017, to join her mother in eternal rest. 

Jolene was a graduate of Layton high school where she was a member of Future Homemakers of America and the National Honor Society.  Jolene exemplified love, light and a beautifully generous spirit.  

She is survived by her father, Joe L. Lopez; her sisters, Peggy Chavez and Mary Fishel; her brother, Charles Lopez; her brother-in-laws, Richard Chavez and Greg Fishel; her nephew and nieces, Geoffrey Fishel, Jamie Prieto, Melanie Salazar and Amanda Chavez and a large number of wonderful grand nieces and nephews. 

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street, Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit family May 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield  Road.  A Vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Interment,  Kaysville City Cemetery.
